I'm stuck :(
I have three characters: Mo/E, N/Me, and E/(Me,Mo,R). The first one I have neglected for a while. The second one is level twenty now and has ascended (and can't get past TK because of lame groups). The last one is the one I'm currently PvP'ing as a spiker. I got the spiking part down, and every few days have unlocked a different secondary to try out and unlock skills for as I can (since I can change whenever I want ^_^).
One of the reasons that I've taken my spiker to the ToPK is because people actually will form groups with me, or include me in a group (I tried with my N/Me, but no one wants me *cry*). And I've actually joined a few good PUGs and won in the HoH!! *beam*.
I'm just neglecting my Mo/E and I'll get to him later on, but what of my N/Me? I've finally taken a liking to PvP but my favorite character to play appears to be utterly useless in PvP. What can I do with her? Is she useless and destined for PvE? There has to be something... I even gave her a beautiful Necrotic 15k armor, and died it all completely black.
What are your experiences with N/Me? Any suggestions? I'm not begging for a build, but if anyone wants to volunteer a useful skillbar for the ToPK, that would be... awesome! Thank you!!

Ummm, id say take tainted putrid and blood ritual. Other than that, no one cares for necros.

no one i whos good in the game does.
ignore all the others that wont invite you as long as you are one of the 4 popular builds that are just popular because a dead ape could play them.

N/Mes are good. Putrid Explosion, Blood Ritual, and Blood is Power are great skills. In addition, there are at least a dozen great Mesmer skills that you can use to regain energy or shut someone down.

I have an N/Me that dominates in PvP using Blood + Domination... though good luck getting a tombs group with it, as Soul Reaping is a waste of a primary for pvp... But having a Me/N you cant use runes, which is why i am N/Me... I'm at 13+1+3 Blood (Sup Rune, Head Scar) 10 Domination 8+1 Curses (Minor Rune) 2+1 Soul Reaping (Minor Rune) and 1 Inspiration. Soul Reaping may not be the best, but I don't find it to be that bad when you need to use the runes for the necro side, as say you use up a bunch of energy to kill something... and your a little low on energy to move onto the next target... an extra few energy never hurts. Anyway, thats just my opinion.

death necro.... BUT i suggest u change to N/R to use frozen soil... u dont really need mesmer in a necro to run efficiently, but frozen soil always helps...
well, u could use spells like putrid (ftw lol), tainted flesh, rend enchantment etc... i also use bone fiends when the corpses are far away from targets or everyone is dead already, and use verata's sacrifice to keep em alive... then always bring ur rez sig and u could fill the last slot with some annoying degen maybe... like rotting flesh or suffering... if ur using N/ME, i suggest u make the same thing, but trade the frozen soil for a backfire maybe...
good luck.

Herm ..... I love necros and there are always groups asking for them in PVP where I been playing ...... Putrid is CRAZY GOOD in PvP esp when you have to take the Mound!....
Dunno about the need for N/Me though... Ive always seen Me is used to shut down or sap mana.. My necro never runs out of mana as there is always a body dieing in PvP. Possibly look at a different secondry..
Me personally im .... N/Mo (makes a good distraction for the tanks that try to kill the supposed weaker AC chars) he he he silly tanks.

Necros are pretty much a pure support class.... other than the already mentioned Blood Is Power or Putrid Explosion, you can also go debuffs or Order of Vampire spam.
Debuff has really big issues with nature's renewal and condition removal, so you would probably have to be able to do some other things too, like either putrid spam or Blood Is Power.
Order of Vampire is pretty amazing in the right group.... although i think an OoV blood nec is much better in PvE. Although if you get a crazy party like 1 monk, 1 OoV nec, 6 rangers with barrage...
You could try Putrid Explosion spam and carry like... 6 interrupts. Although a mes secondary might not be as good at interrupting because of no fast casting, so you might want to take interrupts that hit any action, like leech signet and cry of frustration, and then have things like diversion on top of that.

So what then should I make my secondary to be more useful in ToPK and HoH?
